Fire Sprinkler Fundamentals for the AHJ

This four (4) hour refresher will focus on exploring the basics of the fire sprinkler system and how it impacts sprinkler design. Geared for those currently performing fire sprinkler plan review to enhance your knowledge about fire sprinkler systems. The main content will be NFPA 13 systems that are typically faced by the AHJ.

Topics will include:

·  Hydraulic calculations: what are we looking for?

·  Flow testing, are you getting what you need?

·  Development and use of the fire sprinkler.

·  Uniform and non-uniform sprinkler spacing.
